What makes you uniquely you?

I try to live life simply, lead by example, think before reacting, laugh frequently and enjoy every day. I come to the Big Island by way of Ann Arbor Michigan to provide for my family the opportunity to grow up carefree and safe.  I am the proud parent of a fantastic 7 year old girl and a wonderful 2 year old boy.

Favorite Quote:
"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony." -- William Henry Channing (1810-1884), American clergyman, writer and philosopher

What do you like about you job?

I really enjoy working for Hawaii Family Physicians because our goal is to positively serve our community. We have phenomenal doctors who care more about patients well being than their own financial benefit (working in the billing office this sometimes gets challenging). I admire the people that I work for and feel that they motivate me to achieve anything I set my mind to.

What do you enjoy about the staff?

I have come to EXPECT certain things from our staff:

1. I expect to walk into work every day to find Ann already working.

2. I expect to hear Kristy say "AWWWWW RIIIGGHHHTTT" at least 3 times a day! You have got to hear it, it's GREAT =)

3. I expect Heather to pop her head in each day when she gets a minute to say "hello".

4. I expect Dori to come in everyday looking beautiful with the most 'to die for' shoes that match perfectly with every outfit.

5. I expect Ruth to say the perfect things during morning prayer!

6. I expect to see Dr. Arthurs looking really cool in his red white and yellow leather jacket carrying his matching motorcycle helmet (WATCH OUT DRIVERS!  We can not serve our patients if you run him over!)

7. I expect to see Dr. Beth arrive at the office and greet me with a smile after walking in from the parking lot carrying twins girls in her tummy, down all of those stairs, with her computer, up hill, in the snow….. JUST KIDDING ABOUT THE SNOW !!! (Well, now she's on maternity leave but she still brings them in to see us!)

Needless to say I really enjoy working with each and every one of you!
